Literal RAGE...

"Why am I even bothering... Seriously, someone needs to remind me of why I am making any effort to race!?" said a furious Ray Striver after walking home at three - quarter distance at today's Indy Jr event. But it's not his own result that had Ray seeing red.

"So I DNF!? Frankly I expected that, that sums up my ovals overall to be fair. I hate taking a loss, and in a series to boot is a joke but when I actually feigned an interest long enough to see who won I just stopped caring..."

"So as it transpires, the championship leader won, the same guy who clearly forgot to do a setup for the round and qualified 18th, 3.500 seconds off the pace on a faultless run. I've been in this game long enough to know that is 99% guaranteed to be the reason for his being so far down the order. So let me ask you this: When you bust a nut setting your car up, take the time to do the math and put a lot of thought into your strategy, only to lose to a driver, any driver, who didn't even show and will undoubtedly have been racing on a setup a good 90% less accurate and efficient than your own. Why do you even show? I have no hard feelings for this driver, if he pulled out a stellar strategy then kudos to him but that doesn't disguise the fact that something is fundamentally wrong!"

"I'm a big fan of nwheel who I know has had a similar crisis in recent series, I believe it was he who quoted "high speed bingo". At least in bingo, if you don't play, you won't win... Pfffff, I'm out..."

Ray turned his back and left. Maybe for good...
