Comunicados de Prensa - Aboagye Gives Reason for Retirement

Aboagye Gives Reason for Retirement

Stevie Aboagye recently retired and finally chose to address the public.

"I chose to retire because I didn't see the point of starting from the top," Aboagye stated, "like, there's no point in continuing my career if I have already beaten everyone good. So I chose to step down from my position and mentor my younger brother, Solo."

Solo recently began his racing career and has been running decently for an 18 year old.

"He is young and has a long way to go," Aboagye continues, "he definitely isn't where I am in skill, but he's learning very quickly and I have no doubt he will be great."

One reported asked about Diesel's later comments. Aboagye chuckled.

"Well for an F1 driver, I seemed to get him pretty worked up. To be honest, I wasn't really being serious in everything I said. I needed something to talk about and I found it. Now, all I will say is if his team's car really isn't as good as the others, then explain to me why his teammate constantly finishes 3 - 5 positions better than him? I mean, they have the same car, right?"

"This just proves my point about his skills. He just isn't that good. He definitely has some room to improve, but as another person said, he isn't improving as fast as many others, and he isn't getting any younger."

"Kudos to him for at least making it into F1, but there are many other drivers that would do better than him."
