Formula 1: pole of Guerra on Ferrari! Welcome to the heir of the "Red Snake"

As most of you probably know, Ferrari as a good tradition with Portuguese drivers. Jarbas, the "Red Snake" hold all records of wins and poles of Scuderia.

Today, in the first GP of the season, onother Portuguese guy took a Pole for the team of "Cavallino". Vasco Guerra, at his first experience in Formula 1, was able to take the first position and also to break the record of the track.

The time set by the Ferrari of Guerra was really impressive, if we consider that Melboune is not a track favourable to downforce based chassis. Ferrari's fans were really happy for his performance and immediately gave to their young driver the surname of "Red Rocket".

With the World Champion Robert Kubica stopped in fourth position by technical issues, a surprising second position was taken by the rookie Wiggins on Porsche. Miller was third on Red Bull with the same time.

The Constructor Championship is expected to be as exciting as the last one. Red Bull and Porsche have improved their cars, McLaren has increased bio-diversity with a speed based chassis. Ferrari has confirmed its tremendous speed.
Also mid ranking teams are closing the gap to the top, one example is Sempre Senna that took an outstanding fifth and seventh positions on the grid.

On drivers side everything seems to be open. "Kubica the "Usurper" and Guerra the "Red Rocket" are ready for the fight" said Ferrari Head Engeneer Maxodent. "Guerra is at his first season, he has no pressure, he will be free to make mistakes and to learn. Kubica will have more pressure, as he is the World Champion, but as everyone saw at the end of last season, he is able to manage difficult situations."
