Maybe a change is in Order regaurding season entry fees

It seems some still have issue of the former loophole dealing with season series entry fees. While Tex paid the hefty price for the attempt. He got zero benefit from it. While some still sit in judgement over it. Some still fall through the cracks. But instead manual penalties for these actions to fill season series. I believe another way is better to end the practice forever. Yet still allow season to be filled even by driver to young. Simply charge everyone the full entry fee. If the account goes negative then they cannot do extra trainings. The Lose staff and can only sign sponsors off the driver based staff. So jumping up to Indy that costs 1.2 million to enter. A rookie driver would have to repay the full amount to enter that series. It would only take 1 time having that done to have any manager ever doing it again. It is automatic and even the staff would not have to monitor the actions or allow someone to enter with less then full amount.

this would also Prevent a driver from being forced into rookie series. While punishment not only affected TEx's career permently. It also penalized every new rookie from even having a chance to to win it. Forcing them to be 1 position lower in every race.

Even if that negative would have been used in Tex's Case. He would lost a lot staff. he would not have been able to do any training for weeks .. So anything gaining would have been lost with likely 21 days lost of any extra training. While this is not the format to make suggestion. It is a place also to set the record straight. To own mistakes. To present Better options for the future. To teach and prevent others from making mistakes. In no way do I say what happened to my driver was unfair or not justified.

But Tex's story is also about hope. As he ends season 39 about where he was in season 37. he is racing in Indy where he will finish 6th. Gone are the chances to race in top F1 car. Gone is his chances for 100 stats.. Gone is chance to become and F1 champion driver.. But yet he races to become an F1 driver. To overcome his own failures. Inspiring stories are not always about champions but they are always about Winners. People who never give up despite setbacks. That continue that never quit and never lose heart.. That makes Tex a winner and nobody can take that away from him!

For what it's worth, I'd agree generally. There hasn't been much call for an overhaul to the system, but I concur that - although I wouldn't say the current system is inherently flawed - I would say there is definitely option to open it up. As has...
