NEWS: New Series:- DTM, WTCC, ETCC

Hi guys, as you will have already seen, we have added 3 brand new series that start in season 14!

Season 14 will see a larger selection of series to choose from with the inclusion of 3 brand new series. The ETCC, WTCC and DTM make their debuts next season and we're sure there will be a clamour amongst a lot of drivers to participate in these new series.

DTM - Deutsche Tourenwagen Series
Cars: Audi RS5 DTM, BMW M4 DTM, Mercedes AMG DTM, Opel Vectra GTS DTM

All of the cars participating in this series are very similar in performance.
The cars are well balanced and none have major strengths or weaknesses compared to the other cars in this class.

* The season calendar for DTM is very similar to real life DTM in that there will be 9 circuits used for this series.
* There will be 2 races on each track:- A sprint race and feature race.
* Races and qualifications will alternate every day, similar to the current NASCAR calendar in use on MRC.
* In real life DTM, races end after an amount of time, 40 and 60 minute races.
This will not be the case on MRC. The number of laps will be fixed.
* An estimation of laps normally completed in the 40 and 60 minute real life races in DTM have been made and will be used as fixed laps in the MRC version.
* There will be no pitstops in the sprint race, but a minimum of 1 pitstop will be require in the longer feature race.
* The last day of this series will fall on Day 72 of the season.
* Standard FIA points system will be used in this series.

WTCC/ETCC - World Touring Car Series/European Touring Car Series
Cars: BMW 320 TC, Citroën C-Elysée, Honda Civic, Chevrolet RML Cruze TC1, Lada Vesta, SEAT León Cup Racer

These are the cars that will be used in both the WTCC and ETCC series.
Again, all of the cars are similar in performance and no one car will be significantly stronger or weaker than another car.

WTCC Series
* The season calendar for the WTCC series is similar to the real life WTCC version with 1 qualifying session and 2 races per race meet.
* In total there will 36 events split into 12 race meets. The same amount of events as the DTM series.
* This seris will also end on day 72 of the season.

ETCC Series
* The season calendar for the ETCC will be very different to it's real life version. There have been 6 new European events added to the normal 6 in the real life event to give the series the same longevity as the DTM and WTCC series, meaning again, this series will have 36 events.
* Instead of a sprint race and feature race, the ETCC series will have 2 races with the same number of laps. These races will not be full feature races however as they will only run for about 70%/80% of a normal feature race.
* Each driver will have 6 sets of tyres to use for all 3 events during a racing meet. The 6 sets must last you for qualifying and 2 races, as well as testing.
* This seris will also end on day 72 of the season.

Both the WTCC and ETCC will use the standard FIA points system.
