The first official My Racing Career race took place on the 27th of June 2011 after around 6 months of the game development. The beta version of the game was launched just a few days before. At that time, we had only old Formula 3 cars and just a few circuits added to our database.
The full version was officially launched on the 17th of September 2012 when the first season started. With only F3 cars available the highest season series was the Formula 3 World Series accompanied by few Continental and many National F3 series.
In the second season, F2 cars have been added, with the Formula 2 World Series. Soon we added IndyCar, NASCAR, and finally Formula 1 in season 9. Formula 1 came with a completely different concept. Unlike other series where the driver selects his car freely and only top applicants are accepted to participate, in Formula 1 we have human-managed teams who build their own cars and select driver of their own choice.
The next key addition was the season series for motorcycle riders in season 29. We started with Moto3 and Moto2, and after another 2 seasons, MotoGP was introduced. And not so long after that, in season 40, Rally championships completed the wide variety of racing in the game.
We are still improving the game. The database of in-game tracks now consists of 1400+ circuits and 600+ rally stages. Besides above mentioned, we also have many different championships like Formula 4, Formula E, TCR, GT, Supercars, Superbikes, and many more.
The game is based on a detailed racing simulator. The driver needs to practice before the qualification to find the best car setup and set the strategy for the race. Race simulation is performed in the backend. Drivers start their careers at a young age with relatively low skills but improve them fast.
