Hi Toxic,
As head of the team making tracks and getting them on the game, we were also involved in updating and/or changing calendars. Actually, I posted on nearly every active national forum querying exactly that, new tracks and any calendar changes you'd like to suggest. Some did it publicly, others privately, suggestions were passed on to me and then to Debik and he -rightly- had the final say in the end.
Despite me being in somewhat more contact with Debik, he also turned down some of my own suggestions, so this isn't a case of favours or anything.
What I'm trying to say is that since World GT isn't exactly a replica of a championship as F1 or Indy are, some compromise has to be made in order to accomodate differing endurance sensibilities.
The change has only come into effect a couple of days ago, so I'd suggest trying it and letting it be for a couple of seasons.
By season 30 things might have changed enough that we can have either more season series better reflecting real racing, or rather we might have seen that the World GT format as it is doesn't work as well as we hoped.
But you'll understand that we can't go around changing calendars every week... ;)
