Introducing Racing Simulator Training

I must say that I like the idea behind introduction of racing simulator training, but I don’t the way it’s implemented at the moment. I think we can achieve a lot more with it and hope it will be modified before the next season starts.

First I think that car experience is missing as familiarity with car should also have a small effect. Driver who has raced for 10 season with certain type of car (or series) has a small advantage over a rookie driver that has never raced in it before. You could also separate open wheel car familiarity with touring car or stock car familiarity. That means that if you move from WTCS to DTWS you keep some experience, but if you move to DTWS from formula 2, formula E,… you start from zero.

Even more I don't like that you get track experience from private series. This means that those who are prepared to spend real money will benefit greatly in the long run. We all know that even small advantages can have huge impact over long time period because of snowball effect.

In theory you can spend coins to create enough private series for your driver so that he has maximum track experience for every seasn series race. You don’t even have to invite other drivers as the sole purpose of this series is to gain maximal amount of track experience. I know that formula 1 will be greatly affected because of it. There even small advantage has a potential to make a huge difference in how much money team gets. If you are willing to spent few houndres euros for F1 team takeover than this is no brainer yor you.

For me this shows that MRC is clearly moving toward pay to win concept and I don’t like it. At least for me, it’s more important to be better than the rest, because you can think outside the box to get some advantage and willing to put more effort in it.

I get absolutely no satisfaction in winning, if that happens because I was willing to spent more real money than the others.

I see your point. Myself, I like the new simulator training mod, it's so realistic since most racing drivers got their own sim at home and in the team factory, it's like preparation for them. I first asked DeBiK about it and he promised it so I'm hap...
