Introducing Alfred Fairfax
There is a new driver on the grid who goes by the name of Alfred Fairfax. The third son of a Scottish aristocrat, he is a champion at karting and has set numerous lap records (although they were admittedly on tracks owned by his parents).
However, in his family he is a bit of a black sheep. He has a pronounced nose and chin with short black hair and a curled moustache which is in sharp contrast to his blond-haired and clean shaven brothers in comparison to his brothers. Along with this difference he is also much more outspoken and more athletic. Alfred was spoilt by his parents but he was never their favourite child, they viewed looking after him as more of an obligation than a choice. Unusual in his family, he also sticks out on the grid with a gaunt and bony frame and is also surprisingly tall for a racing car driver.
The 18-year-old has taken part in 15 races over the last few days and has a pretty good record in them. 7 top ten finishes isn’t bad for rookie driver but his success seems to have gotten to his head a little. When we tried to get an interview from him on his recent performance he refused, saying that he was too busy winning to give interviews. Despite his claims of winning though his best finish is 6th place at Port-Au-Prince. While he has been consistent in his finishes he is yet to give a real stand-out performance.
That concludes this introduction of Alfred Fairfax. A young racer with talented trainers and the backing of a wealthy family, he has put in a myriad of solid performances but hasn’t stood out as a future star yet.
