The Phone Is Ringing...
... And the call was answered. When asked who they believed would be best suited to lead the GB National Motorsport Association, an unprecedented show of support for all candidates saw veteran manager Adamski come out on top.
"I am a little surprised, one candidate was offering punch and pie in his mission statement to voters, how can I compete with that!? Alas, it is done, and I can only thank everyone who voted. We have discussed at length where we believe we will rank in this new event, it is not at the top, and we definitely aim for anything but the bottom. The UK is going through some serious driver shifts at the moment and we may be a little down on some key names, but that said we will be putting our best six men forward for the job. Largely, those names are decided, and they will be informed as soon as we know how the system works. The Junior team is too tight to call..."
As we also step in to Season 13, talk turns to young Rookie Noah Vale, who until the 11th hour looked set to contest F3 Australia until a late change.
"We would much rather have contested Australia, if I'm entirely honest, we are better suited and archived to pretty much every track, but some very promising names came forward late in the game. Seppi Siffert joined, along with Murdoch Bennett to name but a few young chargers. We're not after an easy ride, and to go wheel-to-wheel with these guys would have been good. But we can't afford to be precious about a particular series, and after extensive research, we believe we may take better results away from F3 Romania, which in itself has been the proving ground for some of the industries finest names to date, Rapido, Novikov and Paboucek to name a few. The tracks should suit our chassis more too as we get into the bulk of the season".
We await the full reveal of all six GB drivers to contest in A1, along with the teams livery launch over the next few days!
