F1: Solberg got crashed out, stopping Trabants challenge for 8th place in team standings.
What a shame. After his best season Qualifying Trabant driver Solberg was cleary on his way to scoring vital points for the team, when he, after his first pit stop, was chrashed of the race track by the Italian driver Andrea jr. Cannas.
Nobody knows if Cannas was already celebrating his countries 70th Birthday in the cockpit and lost his focus, but fact is, Cannas finished the race while Solberg got robbed.
The financial impact for the Trabant Team could be bigger than 1 Million. Points would have secured the 9th overall place and the team could have surpassed WAR in a challenge for 8th overall.
Second Trabanat driver Skram finished a solid 17th, underlining the Trabants ability to challenge this season constantly for the Top 20.
Disappointing evening for the driver and the team.
