Aston Martin Fan Championship - Season 7
With the current edition of the “Aston Martin Fan Championship” coming to an end a few weeks ago we were going to summarize how it was.
Felipe Campolargo got his seventh title but the decision was made only in the final race thanks to the extraordinary performance of Cupertino Jarbas! With four races to go Felipe had adn advantage of 78 points but Cupertino in the last four races took 2 wins and 2° place. He ended up only 10 points of Felipe!
Felipe Campolargo, as already mentioned, finished first in the championship (2 wins, 8 poles and 7 podiums), Cupertino Jarbas finished 2nd (4 wins, e 7 podiums), Oiva Hamays placed 3rd (2 wins and 5 podiums) and Bernardino Campolargo placed 4th (1 win and 4 podiums). At 5th place, Yolanda Carrapatelo (1 victory and 2 podiums) and Jamie Thon at 6th place (2 podiums) just in front of Noé Nogueira in 7th (1 podium). Then came Julianna Risko (1 podium), in 9th place came Elias Escalada and Simon Rasmussen (1 podium) closed the top 10.
[b/]Nádia Portocarrero[/u] continues in her position as a better driver in the Aston Martin FC, she leads with 4,804 laps, 79 podiums, 104 top 5s, 136 top 10s and 29 fastest laps. Felipe Campolargo leads the field with the highest number of titles (7) and 33 victories. Mauricio Cruz leads the biggest number of poles with 39.
Our Sub-23 championship was won by Miguel LLorens with 7 points and 5 incredible victories in front of Antonio Mateus by just 20 points!! Kelemen Szegedi finished at 3° place.
This is the first title for Miguel. Tomás Gois Rocha continues to be the legend with 3 titles. The 2nd place of classification was for Antonio Mateus with 2 poles and 4 victories. Kelemen Szegedi ended at 3rd place. Just came behind Rafa da Costa (with 1 victory and 3 podiums). In 5th place finished Edu Inácio (4 podium), just in front of Fabricio Zé Cruz (1 podium). In 7th place appeared Nico Morbidelli, in 8th place Jo Feld and in 9th place Silke Rasmussen. Gabriel Santaquilani closed the top 10 (like in the past).
On the Sub-23 record chart, Felipe Campolargo continues with more conquered points(2730), more victories (26), more podiums (45), more top 5 (56) and more fastest laps (34). Tomás Góis Rocha is still the driver with more top 10 (59) and more titles (3).
In the next season with the first 3 leave the under-23 category who will take the title? In the main class, will Felipe get his 8th title? Or will Cupertino get his 1st?
