Maybe not quite as outspoken as his co-patriot iHealy. Manager Adamski joined the debate today as publicity grows around the alleged first "Team" outside of F1.

So you're laying claim to the crown of MRC's first "Team"?

"No, not exactly. There would be no way of tracing an undocumented claim. However as far as UK based alliances go, myself and iHealy hold the distinction. From BETA series back to UK legends Guy Wellington and Miguel Baines we've competed alongside each other as team mates, sporting the same livery and competing season by season in the same series, effectively working as a team. Its a method that saw us occupy the top two slots in the UK ranking and remain unchallenged until retirement. New drivers Striver and Maines are only 21 and already within touching distance of emulating this feat!

What are your thoughts on RAGE Motorsport?

"They're young, I've noticed a lot of chatter about their time in Rookie but its mixing it up with the heavy hitters in Single races that will show their true pace. Rookie is just the start, it makes you feel invincible by spoon feeding you wins. Then you're out on your own. Team or no team, only you can set that race up. It is far easier to put it in the wall than put it on the podium..."

So you anticipate they won't succeed?

"That's not what I'm saying, I just hope they're prepared for the fallout if they don't deliver on their fighting talk of winning their series. Striver and Maines in their unbranded team have contributed more to each others DNF's than successes. True character in your team is defined by how you lose together, not win".

What of your own series? F2 North America?

"Ironic isn't it. How RAGE have laid claim to North American F3 and here are iHealy and I laying claim to North American F2. We aim to be shooting for silverware for one or both of us, but we're alongside some elite names in MRC! SatF1 and Daftkrft are no stranger to success!

So what sort of a heads-up can you give to RAGE drivers?

"We've met a few times on track in Season 9. My advice for Season 10 is to avoid Striver and Maines. But if we do happen to roll up in the same race I've made sure our rear wings are very pretty!"

Do we have ourselves the beginning of a rivalry?

I don't know, i'm bored and I can smell steak so I'm gonna go and see what the situation is over at the food court. Remember, two wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a left...
