Whats left for the teams to fight for?

As it’s the fashion these days to split final parts in two (harry potter, hunger games) I’ve done the same. There are only 43 points left for the constructors champion ship– heres what still up for grabs in Abh Dhabi!

OMR have been clear winners for some races now. But behind them nothing is for certain

2nd / 3rd Red Bull leads Ferrari by 8 points. Ferrari need to score some major points to make this happen – but a 1-2 finish would guarantee them 2nd place. Red Bull has an easier time, with a cushion of 8 points if they take the win then 2nd place is theirs – Too close to call, but I think RedBull will get this one!

4th / 5th Mercedes leads Jordan by 17 points, Jordans early performance and consistency have brought them this far, but the late surge by Mercedes has seen them shoot up the table. Jordan need misfortune to befall P. Grandi to really have a chance and even then they need 5th and 6th in the race to pass the silver arrows. I think Mercedes have this one in the bag.

6th / 7th WAR and Mclaren are only separated by 10 points. Both teams are regular scorers so its difficult to visualise Mclaren being able to outscore WAR by 11, but it is possible, a 4th place and a 5th for Mclaren would leave WAR in serious trouble. My money is on WAR for this one tho.

8th / 9th DEM and Marussia, 16 points in it, but at that’s more than Marussia has scored all season. This one is really only a mathematical possibility and would need a lot of big names to DNF before we saw these two swap positions, DEM will keep 8th place.

10th Trabant, lead LKR and Chipper by 2 points. This last place is worth a cool 1mill, but Zoggelers mysterious absence from press conferences of late have left tongues wagging – Trabant has this one for me, but its so close its unreal.

11th, 12th,13th, 14th, 15th - no money so who cares!
