Fox's Feet Firmly On The Ground.

Almost a week has passed since Redmond Fox took his first career win and things have somewhat cooled down a bit on and off the track.

Wild celebrations quickly followed his maiden victory, and as we seen last time we met up with Fox, he was looking very much worse for wear.
However in the lead up the next set of Rookie Series races, Fox managed to keep his head down while competing in singe races throughout the week. In a brief interview with Fox's manager this week, Emerald was intent on not letting Redmond's recent success on the track go to his head stating:
"We'll wrap him up in cotton wool when he's away from the track. The worst thing we can do is let the little bit of good be wasted. Young drivers can be hasty and make awful decisions that can affect the rest of their career. I'm not going to let this young mans bright future slip down the drain".

In the sprint race in Most on Thursday, Fox lined up on the grid in P4 thanks to a solid qualifying session the day previous.

In what turned out to be a pretty unspectacular spectacle, with the biggest movers coming from the back of the grid, Fox was able to elevate himself into a podium finish that never looked under threat once passing the third placed competitor.

Unfortunately for Fox, the top two spots were also untroubled as Fox drove a steady but somewhat risk-free drive that never threatened those ahead. Nevertheless, Fox will be happy to continue his podium-finish run of three races.

He will be keen to make it four on the trot when the feature race in Most revs into action this Saturday!
