Comunicats de Premsa - Truck Series Playoffs
Truck Series Playoffs
As the end of the Truck Series Regular Season comes. We go from a wide variety of 32 cars, to only 12 cars. While some drivers are favored more then others, lets take a look at who is in. Starting from the bottom.
P12 - Joseph Enright Jr. - Best Finish - 5th Pocono
Enright had been irrelevent the first half of the season. Almost always a mid tier driver. But the second half he picked up the slack and really put on a show scoring 2 top 5's. I'm not going to say he is a big favorite. But don't be suprised if he makes an upset.
P11 - Charlie Pound - Best Finish - 3rd Pocono
Another with a best finish at Pocono. Pound was a lot faster then Enright and locked up a spot at Knoxville. Pound was a really really competitive driver. And is a suprise to be seen so low in the standings. Expect him to make round 2.
P10 - Václav Raketa - Best Finish - 3rd - Kansas
Raketa was just like Enright. Except he was faster. Raketa was a very meh driver and never really seen up front except for a select few races. If i had to choose anyone to barely miss out on round 2. It would sadly be Raketa.
P9 - Dan Condon - Best Finish - 5th - Charlotte
Condon is a very fast drive hence why he is in the playoffs. BUt he could never really break through some of the top drivers. He either had a bad pit strat or an unfortunate accident. He was always competitive just a little too competitive. If he can tone down the aggressiveness, he will make Round 2.
P8 - Cody Green - Best Finish - 2nd - Charlotte
Cody had 1 supreme finish at Charlotte then just a bunch of mediocre top 10's to his name. Cody is probably in the top half considering speed. But come pit stops. He always disappears and is almost never seen again.
P7 - Becky Hayes - Best Finish - Richmond - 3rd
Becky is my driver, but she has been very fast. She has competed with the faster so many times, but she has some moments where she just can't control the car. If she can stay in the draft and pass at the right times she can easily make the finals.
P6 - Irvin Colton - Best Finish - 1st - Knoxville
Where do i start with colton. He is a slow driver. He isn't very consistent either. Most are questioning if it was just dumb luck that he won at a Dirt Track. But never the less, Colton is here. And he might compete but i wouldnt count on it.
P5 - Chase Silver - Best Finish - 2nd - Texas
Silver is incredibly fast, but he just had too many dnf's to compete with the 4 fastest drivers. don't count him out at all for a final 4 driver. But do consider him a possible Round 1 exit.
P4 - Andrew Shirley Jr. - Best Finish - 1st - Darlington
Where do i start with Shirley. Shirley is a very fast driver. But he is far too inconsistent. He wasn't even considered a top driver till he won Kansas and Darlington back to back. Only then was he considered a threat. He is still a threat regardless because he is one of the better drivers. But don't expect him to win. These next 3 are the favorites to win.
P3 - Anja Steudel - Best Finish - 1st - Atlanta
Steudel is an incredibly fast driver being only 1 of 4 drivers with multiple wins. He is already a favorite to make the final 4. I would be shocked if he doesn't make it to the second round to be honest.
P2 - Leonel Martínez - Best Finish - 1st - Daytona
Martínez is a very very fast driver being only 1 of 2 drivers with 5 wins. He is almost a lock to be in the final 4. I don't have much to say. His finishes say everything.
P1 - Willie Overton - Best Finish - 1st - Bristol Dirt
Fastest, Most Consisten Driver in the field. He has 5 wins. Nothing else really to say. Just look at his finishes.
